Millennials = Imported

According to a recent study the millennial generation is less likely to buy assembled in America vehicles. Where as 53% of generation X buyers and 60% of baby boomers find it important to buy a vehicle assembled here. American automakers have been trying to reach that target segment but the study also revealed that millennials do not have high brand loyalty and are less likely to buy the same brand. The five automakers the younger millennials consider buying are Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet, Ford, and BMW, and the older millennials would consider buying Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. What does that mean for the future of vehicles made here and does that mean we could be looking at even higher prices for foreign imports?
